It is impossible to put the thousands of kids, thousands of hours in the pool and countless treasured memories into just a few short sentences in a bio.  To really get to know Kerre and her unfathomable passion, one should make the effort to meet her. Her speaking engagements, consulting work and live presentations to others in the industry, leaves you breathless.

 

 

Watching her conduct swimming lessons at any of her Giggles Swim School is a privilege and you can't help wondering if she is part magician, as you note, you as well as her children leave wanting more. As CEO her knowledge & mentoring skills are beyond anything I have ever uncounted in the aquatic industry myself a veteran of 20 years.

 

 

 Her unique programs & philosophies set her swim schools apart from any other centres around yet you are blown away by the willingness Kerre shares her secrets and teachers others the tips and tricks to enhance their profession. So how does one start with a bio, well we start with a small step i suppose. So here goes.

Kerre  Burley (White) has worked in all facets of the aquatic and fitness industry for the past 38 years and has had a positive influence on major developments within the industry here in Qld. 

 

 She is founding director of 'Next Generation Aquatics'  She is recognized internationally for her innovation & passion  within the Aquatic industry on a global scale.

 

 

Kerre is Australia's only professional 'Live trainer' and NLP speaker within the Aquatic Industry. Her decades of experience allows her to conduct seminars, programs, workshops and master classes all over the world. As a professional speaker and certified laughter leader, she's dynamic, motivational, entertaining and informative with her presentations.   

 

Whilst there are many NLP trainers, coaches, consultants and practitioners, Kerre walks the talk and still has a hands on approach at her  Swim Australia's Award Winning, "Giggles Swim Schools". She was the founding director of Ace Aquatics training  and more recently moved into innovation industry training organization 'Next Generation Aquatics'.  

 

 

History

 

Kerre started her swimming teaching career in 1972 at Cardiff in Newcastle NSW whilst still a competitive swimmer. Since then,  she has taught all over Australia and traveled all over the world educating teachers, educators and business owners on aquatic business and life style skills. 


 
After a proud and successful national career as both a competitive swimmer & water polo player.
Kerre went onto be a state champion at squash & surf life saver, competing also at numerous state cross county championships. 
 
Kerre joined the Royal Australian Navy at 17 & continued to pursue sporting  successes as a service athlete.
 
 
 
In later years , Kerre  achieved success as a mature aged athlete in  triathlon,  representing Australia in international competition.

 

 

Kerre resides in Logan, Kerre was voted Logan's Sporting  Personality in 2003 and  Logan's Sportswoman of the year in 2004, however her greatest joys are from her 5 children. In 2001 Kerre was the proud  recipient of the “Australian sports medal” for her services to the Aquatic industry. She was the guest of honor at the opening ceremony Baby Olympics in Manila in 2005. 

 

Career

 

 

After 30 years in the aquatic industry Kerre changed track and started becoming involved in personal development, Kerre became a Christopher Howard Fast Tracker, she attained her NLP master practitioner  also her Dr Madan Kataria  Certification as a Laughter Leader and also joined the Brett Mcfall NEXT LEVEL Program for Professional Speakers.

She is a regular presenter for Austswim and recently presented her Learning through Laughter theories to swim instructors at the Austswim National Convention.

 

Kerre continues to empower aquatic professionals throughout the world with her "Masters of the Aquatic industry" online membership and  is commissioned by SWIM AUSTRALIA to conduct the first webinare and teleseminars within the Aquatic Industry around the world. 

 

As mother to 5 beautiful boys & devoted wife to Peter, Kerre is testimony to living in a balanced positive environment. She takes an avid interest in her local community. Kerre has a passion for life that leaves many breathless.  Her driven purpose is to continue to improve the aquatic & recreational industry with opportunities & practices that will benefit the many generations to come.
